She began her academic journey in Kinesiology at the University of Alberta, before earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California, graduating with Magna Cum Laude honours.

Growing up playing competitive hockey for 12 years, Dr. McKenna developed a strong understanding of sports-related injuries and recovery. She brings this into her clinical practice, working with a diverse patient base that includes athletes, active individuals, pre/post natal patients, working professionals, as well as pediatric and geriatric populations.

She has experience treating high-level athletes across a variety of sports, including hockey, martial arts, skiing, soccer, and football. Whether someone is dealing with pain, returning from an injury, or looking to stay active and move well, she tailors her care to each patient’s specific needs, lifestyle, and goals.

Her approach is empathetic and centered on creating a supportive experience for each patient. She utilizes a variety of techniques, including diversified adjustments, drop table, and Activator methods, alongside a strong emphasis on soft tissue therapy to improve mobility and reduce pain. Her goal is to help individuals at every stage of life move better and feel stronger.
